I really like this market and is located in the trendy and safe Ruzafa. Fresh food Reasonably priced Nice vibe Busy market Worth venturing out too. It’s a short walk from the city centre.

Ruzafa market truly is a local market for grocery shopping. Definitely a great place to visit if you're looking to buy foods to prepare at your lodgings, but be aware that this is exactly what this place is. It's not for ready-to-eat purchases and distinctively...More

I loved that this market is more real, no tourists around and it's great choice if you want to go to the place and buy things to cook something in your apartments while you visit Valencia. The area around is cool and worth checking, too.

This Mercado has a large selection of fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses. There is a small bar in the back where you can grab a drink and a bite to eat. Outside of the market there are usually stalls with various clothing and household items....More

I have stolen the title from another reviewer who is exactly right. This is a food and produce market on a human scale and not full of tourists groups shepherded by guides. It is relaxing and fascinating and the stall holders will talk to you...More

I love this market! Authentic, cheap, a wide selection of produce, lots of local stuff, organic options (nowhere to be found the the Mercado Central!), a specialty coffee stall, and much more. I lingered there for a long time and will definitely return.

This is just a smaller version of Central market - food & drink, shame as not interested in that & thought a flea market would be more interesting. Had some nice strawberries though....

This is a large centrally based market which is more of a local offering as opposed to the slightly larger Central Market. It's an interestingly simple yet beautiful building housing stalls selling all sorts from clothing and household goods to foods and meats etc, all...More

For actually buying food I would go here. It has everything of the central market but cheaper. It is a bit of a walk but the area is really interesting. A lovely lady in the middle of the market sells some of the best paella...More

This is the local market in the barrio Ruzafa. Full with locals that are discussing the problems and tell stories to each other. Nice places to have breakfast or lunch arround the market as well.
