My wife and I had a short stop off in Valencia whilst on a TUI cruiser and enjoyed the visit. The Basilica is free to enter and you can see some interesting architecture whilst in there. Located next to the Cathedral in the Virgin Square,...More

Free entrance and a nice building with an important madonna inside and right behind the cathedral so no reason not to go in

It does not take long to look around and there is no fee, but it's worth having look inside, you will be nicely surprised. It closes in the afternoon between 2 and 4.30

There is no entrance fee for this basilica. It is not that big but like most of the churches in Spain there is a lot to see.

Unlike the Cathedral around the corner, the Basilica does NOT charge entry. Superb ceiling and decoration. Small but highly detailed.

This is an amazing Basilica. The inside is simply beautiful and be sure to see the outside door at the rear of the Church (located between the Basilica and the Cathedral). Church is relatively small but makes up for it in grandeur...

We wandered into the Basilica quite by chance as the outside disguises the splendour of the inside. A circular chapel with ornate silver and gold religious objects and the statue of the virgin at the front. A place of reverence for the catholic faith. Look...More

The Basilica de la Virgin de los Desamparados is beautiful and the plaza outside is a central meeting place for locals and tourists alike. I arrived on the last day of the Fallas festival and the plaza was decorated with magnificent flowers - the smell...More
