Took advantage of the free tour and, although it was in Spanish and my Spanish is limited at best, it was well worth it as it provided access to areas that you would not normally have access to. This included the Church and the Chapel...More

Well worth the 1 hour journey from Barcelona especially for the custard doughnuts in the cafe!! Best I have ever tasted. The journey up by train is very pleasant and the best way to go up is via the cable car if you can stand...More

This place started as monastery, then during the Franco regime was a prison, and now hosts a huge library and cultural exhibitions. Definitely worth a visit - especially if you rent a bike...

Enjoyed a fun day walking around the area and this church. We were there Holy Week so it was crowded but got to see a lot of holiday activities as well. Churches in Spain are inspiring.

Este monasterio es un monumento histórico y no un alojamiento. Por tanto, solamente es para visitas y debe buscarse un hotel. Si lo tiene en el centro de la ciudad, hay un autobús que va directo al Monasterio.

As I said in the other question, Monasterio San Miguel is only an historic monument and no a lodge. You must find an hotel and go to the Monasterio only for visit, and you can do it by a bus from center of the city. Regards.
