According to some of the guide books/online travel websites this street is one to visit. I wouldn’t agree although the area around the ayuntamiento and near the port is quite nice.

Something for everyone. Not for kids. Great food and drink options, clean, enjoyable and plentiful shopping, great people watching. Relax and enjoy the sunshine.

This is a lovely, atmospheric street and is the heart of Cartagena. The architecture reflects the wealth of the city in earlier times.

It’s just as good as it was 20 years ago. So clean, such great architecture, and it’s cool even with the bullet scars from 1936. But watch out, there are some great stores so keep her on a short leash.

This is a wonderful pedestrian only street with restaurants, historical sights- some easily seen from the outside, gift and specialty shops. Marble and an architectures delight.
