Great historic tour of a grand old club.
Spome impressive trophiesbas you would expect from the 3rd biggest club in Spain after Real Madrid and Barca.
Stadium is looking tired which is understandableb as they are due to move to the new state of the art 75,000 seat capacity stadium la peineta in 2017.
You can certainly feel the history though.
Only let down was the ridiculous tour guide. She talks to people as if they were little children.
Hopefull this unprofessional snotty little girl wakes up and realises she earns her living from the fans and not the other way around.
Silly little girl.

Let me start by saying I hate football and only got the tickets as a gift for my husband. But the trip was well worth it. I love history and the way the story of the club is curated and played out is simply wonderful. An afternoon well spent for a football fanatic and history buff

went along for the tour.
13 euros and was guided by a lady who I'm guessing had great knowledge of the stadium but was all in Spanish but she did slightly explain at the end in English for me but felt like I was missing out a bit.

nice walk around the ground and inside the changing room, also of the presidential box and the museum was good too although very tiny.

nice model of the new ground due to be unveiled in a couple of years time in a new location near to the airport, so was nice to see the old ground as it is before they knock it down.

Sunday March 15 at 14:15 we had a stadium tour at Vicente Calderon from a small Spanish girl whose English wasn't good and she was terribly unfriendly and harsh.
We were with a group of 19 football friends having a football weekend in Madrid (plus some other vistiors) and when the tourguide started to talk and a small joke was made on the background she immediately 'threatened' to stop the tour if we didn't listen to her. She continued talking in an unfriendly way to us and, apart from the first minute where she told that a new stadium will be constructed, she was neither telling anything about the club or history, nor she was telling anecdotes or giving background information about the lociations we visited. Besides, she got angry with some other guys who stepped 2 meters on a place that obviously wasn't allowed and since here English was bad she sad things like 'you must walk there' and 'you must do this'. Towards the end of the tour she was also shouting to some people that they had to walk faster.
Altogether it is unbelievable that this lady managed to disappoint all 19 motivated and enthousiastic people in our group (plus I guess also the other people of the tour) as we travelled quite a lot to get there, we liked the club and the stadium, but we went away with a bad feeling and an increased negative sentiment about the club.
This lady is a disgrace for the club and I hope this review will help Atletico to improve the tour or wake them up about this...

This was the 3rd time I'd been to Atletico. I actually made some very good friends there the first time I went so go back as much as I can. The first time, we went the day before our trip to The Bernabeu. After our trip there, we went back to the Calderon as we loved it that much. I've since been to a game there and I'm looking at going again. The tour is amazing and I made friends with the tour guide. The club is obviously smaller than a certain other club in the north of the City but Atletico are so much friendlier and aren't always trying to take your money off you. Immediately fell in love with the club. Real is clearly a massive club but Atletico gives the personal touch. Always first on my list for places to go in Madrid.

Not as sueeded for present outcome, this great team of madrid has its story in exhibition in this museum , opening rather late in Summer but the neighbor there is great place and serene. The exhibit itself does not as exotic , innovative as of its counterparts. However, I was sure this team has been one of the greatest FCs inthe world. Enjoy the tour!!!

It's a nice tour. They took the time to speak English after each section. We got lots of great pictures and enjoyed taking pictures with the cup.

Very basic stadium although we were told they are building the new one next to the airport. Tour begins with walk along terraces, then changing rooms, press room and VIP areas. Afterwards you can walk around the small museum at your leisure. Whole visit takes about 1 and a half hours.

We visited this stadium as an off the cuff something to do. The Museum has lots of history and the museum is well worth a visit.

The tour is guided which will appeal to some people but not others, you got access to all areas, including being able to sit in the dug out, which is something that you cannot do at all other stadium tours, you can tell that the Stadium was built in the 1960's as it does look dated, however given that they are moving to a new stadium is to be expected.

My only annoyance with this visit was being constantly followed around by a very miserable, stern looking security guard and over the top in carrying out his job, however given that this is an old stadium and may not have the security features other stadiums have, this may explain this.
