Kids loved this tour. Great way to see all the sites in lovely Tarragona. We took the whole tour once then hopped off the see the most interesting sites.

Great way to get an introduction of Tarragona! Would recommend it to first-timers to Tarragona. You can hop on and hop off at different stops in Tarragona.

The idea is fine but the means of transport isn't. The carriages are open and we were freezing in the wind. The seats are hopeless as one is simply sitting on a plank. All along the tour we were exposed to fumes from the engine at the front. One doubts the safety of such means of transport. I would not have gone around the city as much as we did with this trenet but still I don't recommend it.

We took a walk along la ramblas and saw the train parked at one of the 12 stops. The €6 ticket allows one full trip but for €7 you can hop on and off letting you sample any stop you fancy on foot. Timetables are at the stops and look at least half hourly through the day. You get a set of earphones to listen to commentary along the way.
