This activity highly depends on the weather, therefore it helps to have an open schedule. I was trying for one week, and Xavi was very nice to keep in touch with go or no go updates. Finally, he confirmed a date.
I also did not make the payment until the same morning just in case. The policy is clear about refunds.
At the meeting point in Igualada, he advised that the weather was not cooperating but with relocating by half hour drive it would be fine. And it was.
While the area of Agramunt has some factories that spoil the view, it did not really take away from the experience.
It was interesting to watch the set up until the balloon was inflated and we finally took off. Xavi was very nice in explaining the theory of balloon flight and answering all the questions from all the guests.
From take off to landing it was very smooth.
It is mentioned that putting away the balloon and equipment requires some active participation from the guests, whether helping with ties or squeezing the air out… while it is not mandatory it is all part of the experience.
And the glass of cava at the end made it for overall worthwhile day.

Monday 5 August 2019. I stayed in Barcelona but did the trip in Igualada. Danny picked me up from my hotel at 5.30 am and we were there in about 40 minutes. We set up the balloon in a large field. Takes about half an hour to get the ballon up with an hour flight. There were 9 of us in the Balloon and very peaceful up there about 100 meters high. Xavi was great fun and spoke good English. We landed about half a mile from where we started and they pick you up from wherever you land. Danny took me back to my hotel and it was a fab day!! Euros 160 for pick up and return from hotel. + cost of ride

It was our 15th anniversary and my wife wanted to feel on top of the world. So we decided to take a hot air balloon ride - we had lots of apprehensions abt a hot air balloon ride but Xavi and his team member Carlos were excellent. They ensured that the ride was smooth and breathtaking, got us to play a part in the experience while on land and finally celebrated the ride with champagne with all of us. They took some great pictures that will always remind us of this great experience. Recommend to all while in Barcelona

Very disappointing, both for the quality of the service and for the way its management handled our situation.
From the beginning, the organization and communication by the company were very inconsistent. Days before our scheduled flight, we were informed that due to the weather conditions, it was very likely that we would not be able to fly. As a result, we had to rearrange our trip and book another last minute activity to take advantage of our time. However, to our surprise, the day before the flight, we were confirmed that this one would take place, forcing us to cancel our new activity. This lack of clarity and sudden changes left us feeling frustrated and disorganized.
Another problem we faced was the inconsistency in schedules. We were instructed to show up at 7:30 a.m., but after talking to one of the employees, we learned that the other group of participants would not arrive until 8:45 a.m. This meant that we had to wait more than an hour without any logical explanation as to why we should be there much earlier. This lack of coordination made the experience even more unpleasant.
In addition, something that really left us uncomfortable was the comment we heard from the company’s own team. As they talked to each other, they mentioned that the flight would be “a vol de merde” due to the weather conditions. Despite hearing this very negative comment, we decided to continue waiting, although we were in the cold, without having breakfast and without any certainty if we would fly or if we would end up losing the only day we had in Spain. Being there, waiting in a random park, with no clear answer, made the experience even more stressful.
Finally, reimbursement management was another source of dissatisfaction. Out of nowhere we were mentioned, a "management" fee that was never mentioned during our previous conversations. In fact, in one of our WhatsApp exchanges, we specifically asked them if the refund would be full or partial, and he told us it would be full. (for now, we are waiting for the refund of the money.. even partially)
Overall, our experience with them was very bad. Lack of communication, disorganization and Pro service management meant that our trip, which we hoped to enjoy, was seriously affected. We would not recommend this company to other travelers due to the large number of problems we face.

We have been scamed by this company.
We booked a flight without any scheduling, we paid it.
Hours later we had a situation and we wanted to make a cancellation. Xavier, the owner, didn't refund all the amount so he stole us 23€ for doing nothing. He said "administration costs" but there are not.
He argued is in terms&conditions, well is not fair.
So if you would be looking for a flight better don't chose this company.

In the Cancellation / Modification therms, it is specified that "Gift certificates are non-refundable". But despite this, we have refunded you the amount. We have costs of administration and bank transfers, therefore we have 15% of costs.

This is the company to go on the balloon tour with.
Shoddy balloon.
Terrible pilot.

I was made to carry the balloon basket with my elderly family members as well as to pack away the balloon.
While we further waited 1 hour for the company to pack up as they only had 2 people.
I felt like I went for a day of manual labor.
This is not a tour company you want to go with.
Absolutely horrible experience please take another company.
I paid 1300€ and I was made to work like a dog.
These guys are crazy and money hungry.

Dear costumer, we are sorry to read your comment. We would like to clarify that our hot air balloons are from the best quality in the world, as they are from the top Producer Ultramagic. Our pilot is one of the most experienced pilot in Catalonia, with lots of hours flying. Actually, you flew 1h30, with a perfect landing. Our staff is specialized and does a fantastic job. Therefore, we are really sad to read bad opinions of workers who, on Christmas Day, went to work so you could fly the day you asked.
The worst experience of your life, we are sorry to read this, but we are happy for you if this was the worst exeperience of your life. It means your life is full of fantastic things and we are happy for you. In our region, people have the culture to help Picking up the balloon once landed. It is actually a funny activity we all do together as a team. We are sorry you did not enjoy it, but we don’t think this can be named “work like a dog” as we do it everyday with our passengers and they seems all happy afterwards. And let me specify for any reader, they helped in two ocasions, not a “day of manual labor”.
Also, the price goes with the number of passengers you are. You actually paid 200€/person for a hot air balloon Flight + pickup on Christmas Day, which is fair.
So let us say we are really sorry to ready this message and we apologize for bringing you the worst experience of your life.

From the start communications we're prompt and helpful. Clear instructions and costs were set out at the start. On the day staff were friendly and professional. The balloon and equipment were to a very high standard and the flight was amazing with a very experienced pilot. I would recommend anyone looking to do a hot air balloon to use these guys.
