It's quite a walk till there, comfortable shoes are a must. I arrived in Sacromonte around 4 P.M. and was virtually nobody there. However, it was there, right in front, the magnificent Alhambra and the view pays all your efforts.

Had a lovely stroll wondering around the streets, lots of windy roads but mostly uphill so be prepared for that. Most food places were closed when we were there but you can imagine the area comes alive later on. Feels pretty safe but stay aware...More

I was fortunate enough to have dinner and see a flamenco show on Christmas Eve. It was such a lovely experience that I think I'd like to make it a tradition

A bit warm waking up there in mid afternoon but some great views of the Alhambra and very different to the other areas of Granada.

Great place to stroll around and take in the Granada way of life. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink whilst people watching. Worth a wander.

We took a guided tour of sacromonte. They are the gypsy caves in the mountains and some of them have been converted into museum. There is a wall that separates sacromonte from the settled area of Albaicin. Who were the gypsies? From where did they...More

Meant to say that we booked by email, and were able to collect the tickets 20 minutes before the show.
