Okay with kids.

A lot of seaweed. Chiringitos. A nice time with all the family. The water is quite shallow- you need to go beyond the bay to actually swim.

Great Beach
Sep 2020
Great family beach with sheltered bay and good facilities. Plenty of parking and an excellent beach restaurant for a relaxing lunch. Recommend a bottle of Rose with Gambas Pil Pil

Cristobal beach
Dec 2019
New entrance update. The new drive / walk entrance is about to be finished any day now. The pathway paving has been finished and road also. There is the new standard outdoor gym/ exercise area that has been out in. Looks like possible walk all the way from new entrance to new building going up called “Ikkle bay” Only negative to all this new work is first you still have to look at ugly concret never too be finished club house. To gain entry to make this road/ payment etc the lorry have actually ruined the road there using leaving busted drains ares and kids with protruding broken and damaged road in disrepair. Also dumping their deliveries nowhere near the works but in fact just plonking them down they have completely ruined a large area. I assume they will. It gave to clean it up as usual or fix the road.( just past The Bel Graviia”

Beautiful Beautiful, quiet with good facilities and free parking
Sep 2019 • Couples
A cove with free parking and a choice of two beach bars each with sun beds to rent at a reasonable price. There are showers and changing rooms. The sea is calm and suitable for swimmers and the beach is clean.

Best beach in Estepona
Sep 2019
Best beach in Estepona, safe for kids, and shallow. Not much in the way of tide to worry about. So good for all ages.

Great beach for kids
Aug 2019 • Family
We went to this beach with four children and it was fairly small and the rocks create a little cove so there’s not big waves. It’s also shallow quite a long way out so the children can easily play in the sea. Went to la Rada beach but prefer this one for the kids. Ate in Havana Chiringuito which was great for kids and the paella was lovely. You pay for sunbeds and parasol but similar price to what you pay elsewhere.

OK beach, nothing special I’m afraid.
Aug 2019 • Family
The good: Plenty of car parking, water is calm and shallow (although rather cold for early August), the food at the Havana Chiringuito was decent enough. The not-so-good: Expensive beach sun bed hire - €15 per bed (compared to €10 typically on Playa de la Rada (main beach), noise from building works opposite kinda ruin the beach vibe. Summary: Worth a visit but cheaper sun beds and more relaxing on main beach.

Excellent for families, water levels are not deep so very safe. And the sand is very soft, just lovely to cool off.

I've gone there many times with family and friends and had a great time, Especially for San Juan on June 21, when we go into the water backward at midnight. Wonderful!!!

Place to relax
May 2019 • Family
A nice beach, with nice sand, almost no stones, you can come with your own gear or rent sun beds from the two chiringitos (beach bar & restaurant) for a reasonable price, they will also serve you food and drinks. Tong of parking possibilities.
