This church is not one of the old ones in Lubeck. What makes the visit worthwhile is the memorial exhibition dedicated the the Four Lubecker Martyrs - opponents to NAZI regime.

We attended Sunday Mass in this relatively new church (built around 1890). It was bright. The music was beautiful and the pastor was very good. There is also a room dedicated to the four Lübeck Martyrs which is very interesting.

The church is not really medieval, but the windows and the traditional brick architecture makes it blend nicely to the nearby Cathedral. Check out their little Museum on the newly sainted "Lübeck martyrs". A litle to much interpretation into some people speaking up during Nazi...More

Entered the Oldtown of Lubeck by the end of the day, most of the churches are closed. This is the first church we visited because it was still open at 06.00 pm. There is no much decoration inside the church as usually a catholic church...More
