Unlike in the Old Master's Gallery in the Zwinger the staff here is friendly. As there are a lot less visitors you have plenty of space to see the paintings. EUR 10.- entrance fee is steep, however the audio guide is included. Bring your glasses...More

Now housed in the Albertinium, this collection contains paintings ad sculptures by Rodin, Degas, Monet, Van Gogh etc. Less crowded than the Old Masters Gallery and equally enriching.

Although not a very large museum, the quality of the master works including Raphael, Corregio, Cranach, and Vermeer are well worth the visit. Galleries are well laid out, but lighting tends to produce an orange cast in some areas. Renovations are underway and a lift...More
