Beautiful fountain and the square it is in is truly lovely. We sat and had a cappuccino while listening to the accordion player. There is also an open air market with flower vendors.

All columns and fountains in Trier are well-crafted and preserved. One of the beautiful columns in Trier is seen in the Marktplatz.. A must see to appreciate.

This fountian sits in the marketplace and is adorned with numerous carvings and some whimisical animals in "different" poses. Must see to enjoy. Look closely.
