A nice museum. For those who stay in Ehrenbreitstein area like me, it's very convenient. The museum is located on the way to the train station or castle. This is not the museum of local history. But the exhibits show how people lived on Rhine....More

the museum is very interesting about all things relating to the Rhein ..boats, engines locks, navigation fooding fossils etc etc . Well worth a visit for 5 euros.

Great art collection and historical artefacts. However, information / description is only in German. Would be great to have translation in English for the English-speaking visitors.

This used to be the elementary school for this part of town. Now it's a wonderful collection of artifacts, models, paintings and archeological finds from along the river. You can take the ferry boat across the river and a 10 minute walk will get you...More

This museum wasn't huge. But there was a nice collection and array of items here. For 5 euros I thought it was worth checking out.
