Not exactly a museum as aimed at those interested in military technology as applied rather than just the vehicle or equipment. Many of the exhibits are cutaway to enable close scrutiny, a Leopard has been cut in half lengthwise. Although primarily Army equipment there are...More

I visited the museum while on a recent (June 2018) Rhine river cruise. A bit of a hike from the Rhine docking location but doable. Non-descript building with minimal signage made for a minor challenge in locating the facility. Very reasonable 3 euro entry fee,...More

Great place to see german military equipment. Stopped by as I was passing through Koblenz. Spent around an hour and a half. I am unable to read german so I didn’t spend as much time as I would have if I could read german.

This museum has enough items of interest to keep everyone happy from the military or weapons expert to the family member who was tricked into coming for a visit, I mean graciously came along. As others have noted, this really is not a museum, it...More

An awesome collection of military "stuff" -- from handguns to a Mig23 and a Leopard II tank. An Enigma decoder was even tucked away on one of the upper floors. The building itself is pretty bland, providing more of a warehouse feel than a museum...More

We live in east Belgium so we were doubting to drive the 240km to Koblenz to see the museum. It was totally worth the drive. Can't believe it costs only 3 euro per person. Everything very interesting, we spend 1.5 hours at the museum!

Ground floor dedicated to heavy equipment i.e. tanks, helicopters, planes, vehicles and guns. Upper floors cover other weaponry, guns, rifles, ammunition,...More

Very large museum. Allow 3hrs. The ground floor has the transport. From tanks and troop carriers to a submarine, helicopters and jet fighters and all sorts in between. It's all indoors too. Inside the main building are 4 floors of everything you can think of...More

There are very small lockers that will hold a small bag or backpack. Bags are not allowed inside the museum. If I remember correctly the lockers required a 1 euro coin.
