The cinema features typical design elements of the 50s which creates a special atmosphere. You can also book a tour on the website (German only, as far as I know) to go behind the scenes and find out about the cinema's history and technical details....More

Mainly this is a cinema but there are theatre and concert performances, too. The historic building was opened in 1928. Today it still is the biggest film palace in Germany. If you dislike US-american-style cinemas and prefer elegant and plush athmosphere like I do go...More

It is the cinema with the biggest screen - in the past as well as today many premiers take place here. Recently renovated, the architectural beauty and the charm remained, however more comfortable seats.

It was opened in 1928 as the most modern cinema in the country. During WW II a fire destroyed completely, but it was reconstructed in the style of the fifties. This is the most elegant cinema in Germany, a lot of premiers are held here.
