Unexpectedly housed in some kind of neo-classical palace, K21 is a must see museum of contemporary art. The building alone is worth a visit: smartly renovated it offers all occasions to let sip in the confrontation with the exhibited works of art. The works are...More

The building itself is more attractive than the museum itself. Nice modern art collection, especially Klee is well represented here. Worth a short visit. Combine ticket with Kunstsammlung.

I visited during the Carman Herrera exhibit and found myself completely underwhelmed by that and the contemporary works set out on the first floor. Sorry, just not my taste, but I guess some folks may like it. Then, I found the second floor and my...More

We went to K21 today and loved it. In Orbit was both beautiful and terrifying. The another rooms were mainly thrilling with some excellent video installations and the dark room screen other high points. The porn/violence room was cheap and gratuitous and the room that...More

This was an interesting art museum and every exhibit was a bit unexpected. Some of the exhibits were straight forward and easy to understand, while other exhibits left me more confused/bewildered than anything else. But even the later kind were fun to try interpreting or...More

The In Orbit installation is tremendous fun but not really art and not for those afraid of heights! The other installations were typically hit-and-miss for contemporary art. Two Times Seven was my highlight, mesmerising video art. The major Marcel Broodthaers retrospective (previously at Moma and...More

Reduced fee for students ( need to show student ID) 10€, for children is 2,5 and 12 € for adults ( if there is a temporary exhibition ) but you get good value for the money !
