I visited with my brother in April 2018. We really liked the place and they have Dali, Picasso and many artists that were new to me. Large spacious building and lovely to walk around. I have one negative comment which is the guards or 'Watchers!...More

First of all there are two facilities with a shuttle buss running between. K20 is near the Rhine while K21 is just south of Altstadt in the building with the glass roof. At K20 we really liked the glass collection and at K21 they had...More

The most beautiful collection of art, with an exhibition of Carmen Herrera. Big names of well-known contemporary artist are in this museum. I was surprised by their amazing collection. The Carmen Herrera was inspiring and touching. An absolute must-see in Düsseldorf, if you love contemporary...More

I was in Düsseldorf on business with an extra day and checked out online. Somehow the reviews do not capture the greatness of the collection. At least six Picasso’s as well as Warhol and many Klee. An amazing experience. K20 was my pick but K21...More

While we thoroughly enjoyed the art collection and temporary exhibition, a couple of security guards ruined the start of our visit. When complaining at the front desk we were informed that it is a known issue and that the security guards are outsourced (and there...More

Lovely modern gallery with interesting works to spend a quiet couple of house browsing. There is an exhibition of Carmen Herrera which is a welcome addition.

The building is rather interesting: well inserted in the surroundings with a appealing curved façade. The possibilities of the rooms are immense: spacious rooms for temporary exhibits on the ground floor and all kind of spaces for the permanent collection on the first floor. The...More

Great museum for modern art. We expected that our children would be (slightly) bored but they also loved it. A must see when in Düsseldorf!

Worth a short visit. Nice collection of the 20th century including some well known names such as Klee, Kandinsky, Picasso, Chagall. Reasonably expensive.

Definitely worth a visit. It's a large space with some interesting pieces. You can buy a combined ticket for K20, K21 and F3 for 18 euros although this feels a bit too expensive. The only downside was the staff who follow you around, sometimes they...More
