A lovely street with boats moored on one side and plenty of shops, cafes, bars on the other. Also well kept gardens are in the centre of the pavement.

Very charming little town with shops and many bars. This is where some big cruiseship docked so expected it to be busy. The town is walking distance to trans station which you can easily get to Rostock or Berlin. We took the train to Rostock...More

Alter storm is a typical resort town beach shopping area. It is where the tourists often are, so don't expect bargains or discounts. If you like beach themed decor, this town was the place to shop!

Nice place for a walk (and eat and drink) while watching the boats sail und and out. But it can be pretty busy at times when a large cruiser on loaded his passengers for a couple of hours.

Do not know, we arrived by cruise ship and bussed to the the small port town and left from the port on the criuise ship.
