Great Roman church and well worth visiting while staying in Hildesheim!
The church itself is not very spectacular but the bronze door (1000 years old) and round chandeliers (800 years old) make this place unique.

Mariendom had been destroyed during the last months of world war II, so there was heavy renovation necessary. The iron cast entry doors (you need to enter the cathedral to se them), the baptistery and the chandeliers are impressive. Certainly worthwhile to visit.
