This memorial was long overdue. It is built on the site of the Michelsberg Synagogue. The walls are located on the exact place where the original foundations once stood (there is a street that cuts through the memorial). Back on Kritallnacht (Nov 9-10, 1938) German...More

This is a very moving holocaust memorial. A shadow of the synagogue (which was destroyed) is built into the street. The wall across the street has the names of the Jewish people who perished.

This memorial is on two sides of a fairly busy street. The one side has a description (in English and German) and an interactive screen. The other part of the memorial is a simple wall of the names of the victims, their birth and death...More

Beautiful tribute to those who were victims of this terrible time. In addition to the brass tiles at the doors with names and dates it is clear that people here remember and honor their lost loved ones.
