Interesting, fun and impressive. It surprises me how vast and multi-faceted the Polizei organisation is. See with your own eyes how thorough they work to keep us safe. In a good sense; a wake up call for every civilian.

Really exciting to see how handcuffs, uniforms etc looked like a looooong time ago, and how it has changed during the years until now. The active area with the helicopter and police car was most fun for the kids. Super friendly staff. Kids are free....More

I'll be honest, I had no desire to visit this museum till my sister (fingerprint specialist and former crime scene investigator) came to visit. But it was fun even for a civilian. ;) The bottom floor gives an interesting and comprehensive history of law enforcement...More

The Hamburg Polizei Museum is located with the Training Academy, it is not open every day of the week, I visited on a Sunday. The museum has recently been refurbished and is simply fantastic and must do if you or any children in the group...More
