At last the Beatles have been given a public "monument" in the area where they first started to plant their roots before become world famous.
It should have been built with a bit more detail / infrastructure
I get the history and what they are trying to mark but this is a very disappointing statue in a very scruffy corner of the city, don't make a special effort to visit when there are much better attractions on offer in this lovely city.
What you see in the photos is what you get. The silhouettes felt a bit sterile against the background of the Reeperbahn. We felt like squares stopping to get our photos as no one seemed to care.

During the day, Reeperbahn is quite... untidy? uninteresting and not really anything to see. The Beatles-Platz was alright, nice to see. At night this area is neon and lit up and would be great for a night out for Hen/Stag do's.
