It was an interesting experience with sights and scenic views. There were many cafes and restaurants. This dock area has a rich history and evokes memories of other trips to docks and down various canals.

metro ride away from centre of town. not very large and not many animals. you can take pictures and buy souvenirs. but save your money . not highly recommendeed.

Sorry, I can not remember as I did not hire that, my company did, but there are many and prices and tours are similar. There is a tourism office in the Harbor (next to the Hard Rock) were you can ask for recommendations... More

Camping Buchholz looks to be as close as you can get and that is not in the city centre, but like previous advice said, try to park outside Hamburg and use a hostel.
