Visited on the 23 Dec 18 Almost skipped it due to the various reviews mentioning about the lack of English descriptions. Firstly, I would say almost all of the displays have English descriptions- certainly excellent in terms of dual descriptions. The museum is on 3...More

A must for those with interest in history and city planning. Worthwhile for Hamburg itself and a window on Germany. Revolution and Jewish history exhibits were excellent but be sure to visit all galleries including basement for WW2.
