One of the best zoos I have been to. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. All the animals were in good shape. Definitely one of the best places for kids to pet the animals and feed them.

Hamburg Zoo (Tierpark Hagenbeck) is quite easily reachable (20 min from the central railway station by U-Bahn U2), well planned, and quite comfortable to spend time with children. A single ticket is 20€ for an adult and 15€ for a child (4-16 y.o.). It is...More

Designed and built over a hundred years ago to a very specific concept this is a great day out. The African Panorama for example is unlike any zoo I've visited. We felt that most animals had more space allocated than in many other zoos. Great...More

Well maintained zoo with lots of animals in large enclosures. There is an option of feeding elephants, alpacas, goats, rabbits etc. with a bag of food that you can get from a small donation by the entrance. A minus for us was the very pushy...More

This is a very picturesque zoo with good access to the animals, almost all in open habitats. €20 per head for adults it was well worth the ticket price. Do not miss the Arctic area with the unusual seabird exhibit, penguins, underwater viewing areas etc......More

The Zoo is private I do not think so considering the high pricing they have but the best would be to check directly with them
