If you are in the mood for shopping, Jungfernstieg is a good area to visit. It’s quite pretty and have many fine shops - and views to some of Hamburg’s waterfront.

A nice busy part of the city which is predominantly old but has the addition of newer facades to some buildings. Good selection of shops and eateries in this area, which looks all the more appealing at night time
