This monument is located in a plaza surrounded by beautiful buildings. The monument along is nice but what makes it better is everything you see around it.

Its a nice thing to quickly look at as you walk to/past the concert hall and playhouses. For people who like fountains of famous people then its one to add to the list....I wouldn't go too far out of the way though.

The monument is a beautiful attraction, located between the French Cathedral and the State Opera House. The Schiller Monument is a free attraction, and it along with the surrounding buildings is well worth the visit.

This monument is situated in the middle of Gendarmenmarkt and the Christmas market was surrounding the monument when we visited. It is a very large monument so stood proud among the stalls.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
