Only few rules apply: Respect diversity: homophobes, machos, racists - please move on, you are not welcome! Please take pictures only of yourself and your friends or the bar-interior! Respect others privacy! If we become rude or arrogant - yes, we do - but then it is needed! (Action/Reaction) Respect simple rules and add a "Please" to your order! Be patient, don't whistle, wave with money or slam on the bar - that only makes you waiting longer. Rudeness, insults or violence to us or other guests will not be tolerated and you have to leave immediately, sometimes with help of our security, for the safety of all of us. We respect you 100%, please give the same to our team and trust our 25 years Roses-Eperience - this is why you came here for, no? For great nights with you!

Fabulous and quirky bar, cheap beer, amazing drinks and wonderful people. This bar is a queer safe space, hence why the staff are rude to straight people who treat it like a tourist attraction. Don’t believe the negative reviews, if you go as a queer...More

Even tho the place will most likely be packed with people and you will barely be able to walk around, it is worth it to go inside for its originality. If cigarette bothers you, don't go in tho. Well, one would say, If smoking in...More

We went there for few drinks, the place was very nice and cozy. The drinks were fine. The atmosphere was great! In the end, one of the bartenders snapped and was mean to one of my friends. We left immediately!

Was told this was a friendly, welcoming and accepting bar. Should have checked the reviews about rude and arrogant staff first. We got the same treatment. When we first walked in, there seemed to be good atmosphere and was mix of gay/straight and singles/couples. As...More

As my German is not so good, after greeting the bartender in German, as a courtesy I thought I'd ask if he speaks English before ordering drinks. Bad idea. He shakes his head and doesn't say anything, implying that he won't sell drinks if I...More

I attempted to get a drink at this bar but failed miserably, you really couldn't move. Stupidly busy. I was probably in there for less than 3 minutes, when I left my clothes stunk of smoke.

Stay away from Roses if you're not ready to experience fur walls, disco balls, pink/red everything and overall awesomeness. Really fun dancy music, pretty cheap drinks and a cozy atmosphere

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
