Not the best visit on a very wet January afternoon but you can see this is a great little market, in a great area. So many bars, coffee shops and places to eat. On a good weather Sunday you'd be more than happy to brunch...More

This is actually a flea market, unlike the touristic attractions that one comes across the Mauerpark, actual people of Berlin selling something with reasonable prices...

We didn't intend to go there, but happened to have lunch nearby. When we walked past Boxhagener Platz, the very tempting smell of food brought us there. There were so so many food stalls (and stalls selling other stuff). We wished we hadn't eaten that...More

On Saturday the Platz is ringed with a double row of stalls - around 100 vendors. Many of the stalls are small trailers selling food ingredients to the locals. There are also lots of places to buy prepared food. Very few to no tourists.

Much better market than some others recommended in Berlin. Went on a Saturday when there is a food market that spreads itself around the 4 sides of the square. Full of locals. Saw varieties of vegetables and fruit that it's just not possible to buy...More

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of
the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party
hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is
palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter

find a bar with international crowds, electronic
music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other,
an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit

Sincerely I do not know until what time you can find the stands, as I have never been there after the very early afternoon. Sorry, I know this is not of great help :(
