Don't go there if you're looking for a fun or relaxed time. Do go there if you're ready to learn the harsh truth. It truly made me sad and angry to experience this throughly researched and documented (and masterfully curated) historiographical work. We need to...More

This museum is a must see. Very cheap and broken into two parts. Part One focuses on Hitler and his development into the monster he became. The other part focuses on the history through the ages of Berlin. You can buy a ticket for both...More

If you are only picking a couple of historic places to visit in Berlin, I would put this on the list. The museum covers all you need to know about Hitler from his youth and through to WW2. It is set in a bunker (not...More

This museum is located in an original bunker and is not really for sensitive visitors as they provide graphic photos, plus stories on audio about the horrors of World War II. It is essential to purchase the audio as it is impossible to read everything,...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can

Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
