It's a nice, clean and modern building. There's a decent variety of food and possibly all the things you need to buy last minute for a trip.

The station is like a shopping mall with everything a traveller needs for the onward journey. Many of the shops don't open until after 07:00 so be aware in case you are travelling on an early train. Berlin Hauptbahnhof connects long-distance, regional and U/S/Tram lines...More

Great structure throughout the different floors. Enough shops and restaurants. Berlin is becoming a destination for international tourists, the station will benefit greatly (and it’ll be a huge step forward) to include (at least) trains information in English.

This train station can easily be mistaken for a galleria or something else, other than a train station! It’s an architectural marvel! I was very impressed by the design, as well as the layout of this place. The flow was nice, and it was very...More

Even if you are not mad about trains it is hard not to be impressed by this station on three levels including a handy supermarket!

Easy access and transfers to everywhere. Great food choices, too. The best place late in the evening to find a snack

Huge train station but very clearly laid out with good signage. Its symmetry can be a tad disorienting. Note the excellent tourist information place here.

Go with a bit earlier than you need to just to look around- very interesting structure. Urban exploration lol. But everyone is super helpful in the event you do get lost

This is a massive train station with many different levels. Everything meets here. Regional, long distance and local trains. Buses are outside as well as the tram. Just be ready to look at all the signs and know what you need to find

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most
central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof
(central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is
a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of
Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending
their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party
venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful
parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life

If someone is expecting to see rodents in the train stations in Germany, they will most likely not see any, as cities and rail services maintain high levels of pest control as well as cleanliness. This doesn't imply that... More
