The new and illuminated WELT-Balloon As unique as Berlin itself is also the new bright Berlin WELT-Balloon. less… It is one of the world’s biggest helium balloons. It has become a symbol of Berlin and is used by many tourists every day. Take off and hover 500 feet over the ground. An extremely strong steel rope attached to the basket makes sure you are safe the whole time. From the balloon, which is centrally located next to Checkpoint Charlie, you have spectacular views of Berlin in every direction. The WELT-Balloon towers over every building in the capital. Enjoy the panorama and discover tourist attractions such as the huge Sony Center and the famous Brandenburg Gate. The captive balloon unites the historical Berlin and the new heart of Europe as you have an impressive view on every part of the city. On warm summer weekends you and your family and friends can enjoy the magnificently illuminated skyline of the capital. From April to October we ascend until 10 pm. Hop on board and discover Berlin from a unique angle!

At time of selling ticket, we were told to come back in half hour. After half hour and another one hour of waiting, they started taking “VIP” groups even though it was our turn. Wasted 2 hours for this!! Must avoid!!

Always wanted to do this-and it was with the wait. Lovely views all over Berlin, unfortunately for us though,it was a foggy day, however we still managed to see the city well and is an experience like nothing else.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum

city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given

I don’t think so. But they can be off by their timing by hours. Better to ask fir firm commitments before paying.
