Wonderful district to live. Worth especially to go there on lazy, sunny saturday morning to experience the slow, comfortable lifestyle of Prenzlauer Berg.

very pretty, gentrified part of town, lots of young people in strollers and nice coffee shops, beautiful overgrown graveyard is worth a look

We stayed in the Prenzlauer for four nights. The area is full of life, small family owned hotels, unique shops, great restaurants, and coffee shops. You'll find the Prater Garten, Sunday Mauerpark market, Konnopke's Imbiss (currywurst) Cafe Krone (for breakfast).

This was the bohemian paradise of the 1990s which has now become the trendiest neighborhood in Berlin. Beautiful buildings and parks are everywhere. The Kulturbrauerei is a must-see here, with its DDR museum. Take the time to stroll through for a few hours.

Each visit brings a good restaurant -- Indian food in Berlin -- or new store -- Patagonia in Berlin. Who knew or could imagine how much there is to see just on Kastanienallee in Prenzlauer Berg?

Take a leisurely walk in this area linking parks and shopping streets for a good neighborhood experience. Kollwitz Strasse and Konstanienallee south of Danziger Strasse are very nice. Note: shops open late here, 11am to 12pm for most. To have the best browsing, afternoon is...More

We had been in Berlin for a couple of times, but never visited Prenzlauer Berg. It was a pleasant surprise to walk there.

We zipped through Prenzlauer Berg and loved our small taste of it - a neighbourhood we will spend more time in on our next visit. farmers markets on Sat, great coffee and treelined streets.

My daughter just moved to P'berg so she knew all the cool spots. We had a lot of fun shopping, eating street food, visiting the food trucks on sunday afternoon at the old brewery, and just strolling around the parks and leafy streets.

No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
