You may find the best bargains, the nicest cafes there. Don` t forget to visit The Story of Berlin, in order to understand the daily life of Berlin.

One of the most active shopping avenues in Berlin. Many shops and cafes to stroll around during your time there. Many fashion designer stores and high end car dealers can be found here.

Nice area to come for a leisurely stroll / window shop. We found some great things at Karstadt, Gortz and Porsche Design. And loved going to the BMW (they had the new i8 convertible) and Audi showrooms. Good to spend a a few hours

There is a really nice food-court style self serve restaurant on the 6th floor of Karstadt. Food was great - not a typical US food court, rather much better stuff. Good salads, sandwiches, meat dishes , desserts, wines, etc... More
