The Museum Berggruen forms an ideal and natural complement to the collection of modern art held at the Neue Nationalgalerie, most particularly with its singular works by Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Henri Matisse, and Alberto Giacometti. Similar to the...more

Famous artists but mostly second grade works of them. Beautiful laid out museum. Entry combined with the one accross the street.

We had a really good hour or two here. The buildings alone are worth looking at but if you are a fan of Picasso, Klee and Matisse to name but a few, then this must be on your list. There are also some artists that...More

There are more museums than rainy days in Berlin! We planned to walk around Schloss Charlottenburg but on arrival it started to drizzle. We then chanced upon the Berggrün Museum in the vicinity and what a find it was! I was instantly wowed by the...More

There was a ton of Paul Klee on display when I went and I didn’t see any Picasso, which I was disappointed in. I’m not a huge Klee fan which is why I gave an “average” rating. There were no big ticket works that the...More

This private collection consists of a large number of paintings by Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee. Also work by Henri Matisse. The museum is a characteristic building opposite Schloss Charlottenburg. If you enjoyed the art in this museum, you can look next to the collection...More

We were excited to visit this museum, as we have enjoyed the works of Picasso in many cities. While there are many, many works by the artist, most are of little Impact. There is minimal curation totally lacking in creativity. We never did see a...More

I visited the Museum Berggruen after visiting Charlottenburg Palace in August 2018. The museum is located across the street from Charlottenburg Palace. The museum has a very good Picasso collection. Some of the works such as the Harlequin and the Violin are related to famous...More

I had a 3 day museum pass and was happy I did as I got to see some of the lesser visited museums. This was an excellent museum, very well done with works by Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Henri Matisse, and Alberto Giacometti.

Nice, not too big, museum with great collection of Picasso, Matisse and Klee. Love the audiotour and check also the museum on the other side of the road. The people of the museum were very friendly and helpfull.

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
