A short walk from the Brandenburg Gate, this is a beautiful monument to Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart. Love the gold gilt. Even in the dim winter light.

What does a memorial like this evoque? Nationalism? The grandeur of a glorious cultural past? However, it is placed in the middle of the green lung of Berlin. Nice place to stroll around.
