Alte museum is a must!Every museum deserves in museum island.Impressive εκθεματα that you need 1,5-2 hours to observe.Take a museum card is a good choice.Exhibits is from other countries as German has stolen like England.

The Altes does a great job telling the story of the rise of the Greek/Roman empire. I enjoyed the beautiful statues here! Definitely worth a visit.

Part of the core Museum Island, the Altes Museum focus is on Classical Antiquity primarily through Greek, Etruscan and mainly Imperial Roman sculpture, vases and related items. It is spread across two floors and also incorporates a rotunda where statues of Greek deities are exhibited....More

The Altes Museum is located adjacent to thee Berlin cathedral and is an impressive Romanesque building with a columnated frontage with accompanying statues and decoration, well worth including in an itinerary of the city

An interesting archaeological museum dedicated to ancient Greece, the Etruscan and the ancient Roman. Especially interesting is the round hall with statues of Greek and Roman gods.

Such a classic building in Berlin, it's a must do if your visiting museum island. Didn't go in, just took it in from outside.
