Whoever has seen other Rathaus in Germany, will agree that this is not the most beautiful. Still worthy of a picture, though.

It's the old town hall of Würzburg. It was not open at the time we were there so we could only take some pictures. There was an information corner where you can see a scale model of the town after the WW2 and also the...More

The town hall of Wurzburg is a historically grown group of buildings from different eras. Once of the most beautiful buildings and only recently renovated is the Grafeneckart. It is a five-storey solid saddle roof construction and tower with pointed helmet and lantern, Romanesque core...More

The city hall, Rathaus Wurzburg, was sandwiched between buildings. Some touch-up works were being done inside the city hall, thus we could not enter to view the internal of the building at the time of our visit there. The red colored city hall building was...More

The inside might be great, but for now, it is under construction. However, the front of the building is photogenic and interesting, plus right next to it is a model of the city after the bombing in 1944, which destroyed the old city. Amazing to...More

This is a historical German building. When I came here, the outside of the building was under renovation. I would assume it to be nice take photos here after the renovations is competed.

Because of the renovation, there is nothing to see from outside. Even inside, there is less to see than normal. The renovation of the Ratskeller looks like a disaster. The style does not seem to match the rest of the building.

Sandwiched between other buildings opposite the Marketplaz, the arched red brick building may be a little hard to find. Inside, just the one small room is available in which the story of Wurzburg's WWII history is shown on wall boards and a model of the...More

This place did not seem special in any way, especially after you see the churches and the dom. We actually almost missed it, due to the construction works done around it.

It is your typical City Hall but it is worth a visit. They have a scale model of the city and the destruction caused by the bombing near the end of the war which is very interesting to see. During the Xmas market time they...More
