The quaint old buildings & Bavarian charm are worth experiencing. Enjoy a beer & pretzel & visit the many shops.

Easy to stroll the pedestrian areas - but most of shops were tourist centers. It was fine for the short 45 minutes we had.

There are some great cafes and restaurants in the market square area. Bustling little market too with some lovely stalls. The city Tourist Information is in the centre of the market square.

This is a wonderful spot to get the feel of the city. A nice place to enjoy the beautiful architectural delights and take in the sight of people walking by.

there is so much here -- all sorts of markets, clothiers, historic sites. This is within walking distance of most of Wurzburg. My 1st trip here was on the outskirts of the old city but still walkable

We walked from our cruise ship the short distance to the market. It was a fun place to have an afternoon drink and sack while we watched the people walk by. It was also a good place to do some shopping.

Lively market in beautiful surrounding with lots of shops. Locals and visitors around. We visited during a city walking tour and bought huge cherries. All the produce looked fresh.

A lively market square, with a gorgeous, ornate building (home to the tourist information centre) and church in the vicinity. Dine at one of the many cafes surrounding the square - Cafe Michel has the best (and largest slices of) apple strudel ever!

This is a nice to see, but not a must see. good to grab a bit and have a little stroll. enjoy some gelato and then move on to something more memorable.
