An unopposing church on the outside, but well worth walking inside. Magnificent frescoes on the roof and ornate altars. The carved cherubs under the pulpit are also a feature. A bit of an uphill walk from the old town for those who are less mobile.

A hidden gem. Who would have thought a small town would have such a beautiful church. The interior divides some of the churches found in big cities. If you are in Fussen do not miss an opportunity to go in.

The outside of the Basilika doesn't draw you in at first, it looks like other church's in the area. But the interior is wonderful to look at and reflect.

The decorations in this church are superb and it's well worth a visit alongside the nearby castle. The ceilings in particular are excellent.
