it's small and you won't be here long to see it all, but if you take the time to read the displays you will see just how much the little city of Augsburg contributed to the world especially in terms of technology!

Great atmosphere, fluent and friendy service even if the restaurant was fully booked and absolutely the best dinner in the city!

Fascinating recreation of pre WW2 building. Authentic architecture and material were used in its rebuilding. I never made it to the gold room that others glowing describe. Instead I opted for a cold beer in the basement restaurant.

If you visit Augsburg this is really a must see. The hall was destroyed by the bombing in ww2. Restored very beautifully.

The square in front of the Rathaus becomes quite lively during summers. If you are lucky enough then maybe you will find some event going on there (Christmas Market in winters).

A must visit while in Augsberg. The gold room is very impressive and at only 2.50 eur to get in is well worth a visit.
