I read a book about Nürnberg's most famous executioner, so I was interested to see his house. There isn't a great deal to see though and most of the signs were only in German, so it wouldn't have meant very much if I didn't already...More

We were walking in the area last night and went across the bridge and half expected to run into the dreaded hangman. It was a calm night with a half moon , the place was quite enchanting. We would have liked to visit his house...More

Worth a walk by if in the area and taking a few photos, knowing the town executioner had to live here between the 16th to the 19th centuries.

Came here on a walking tour and was interesting to learn a little more about it. The last walk people took over this bridge before the executioners house the other side. Picturesque views over the river

When we were there a freshly married couple walked around there and have had a photo session. A wooden bridge over a small river with sweet ducks. Lovely.

A very nice area to walk around and lots to see along the river with nice bridges and buildings, then walk into town and stop for coffee and cake.

This covered bridge used to connect the hangman's house with the gallows. Now it is a beautiful walkwat across the the river Pegnitz, connecting the two parts of the old town. It's a great place to take more unusual or atypical pictures.
