we joined the synagogue services for the Jewish Sabbath. the synagogue is run very well and the had a big luncheon for the congregants after the morning prayers. the synagogue is stunningly beautiful and modern from inside and out.

The building has unique architecture and is located in the middle of the old Munich City. It is surrounded by churches, shops, tourists and what not.

This area was interesting and well worth a visit. The Synagogue is a different type of builinding and quite interesting but very plain and quite stark inside.

This is a new, very modern synagogue in the heart of the old city. We were able to visit the inside after we spoke to the security guards. One of them was gracious enough to give us a private tour of the site.

Interesting architecture gem that was built in 2006, resembling the wailing wall and the "Mishkan" tent where the Israelites religious wares were stored during their 40 years travel through the desert.

The architecture of the synagogue is very unique and interesting. I missed the museum beside and later found out that this is an interesting place to visit too.

Munich benefits from its well preserved cityscape, which largely did not become victim to ugly building excesses in the 1960s and 1970s.
