I met friends at this location when we first arrived in Munich. It was fun to watch these surfers on a river in the main part of the city.

I do not know how dangerous was it to surf here and since everyone or the pro surfer has been surfing here for long, i support it should be quite comfortable for them. You get to see different style of them surfing.

It is fun to see the surfers go on the waves. We stood there for 30 min just watching how this surfers went at it. We never got bored because the surfers come and go so you see different styles.

On one of the entrances to English Garden, this spot (along with another one further down the river) is worth going to see as the local surfers gather and display their talents. Gets crowded with all the people spectating.

You only need about 10 minutes to stop and watch, but was pretty cool to see. Is on the South Side of the English Garten and kicked us off walking through the park. Amazing that it is there, and had quite a few surfers.

This was a neat surprise to come upon while strolling through the parks of Munich. It is fun to see the surfers try their hand at these wild waves. Some would stay on their boards for a couple minutes, but most would fall quickly. I...More
