I wandered in then went up the stairs and was shocked at the difference between the intimate lower section and opulent upper church. A novena was being said upstairs, so I didn’t explore as much as I would have liked and returned the next day.

In the middle of one of the main center streets is Burgesaal, a beautiful rococo church. This church is different,It is low but has very nice frescoes and sculptures. It is worth it to have at least a glance there.

I couldn’t work out how to get to the upper church! No signs in English (fair enough) so I couldn’t get the most out of the museum. But the lower church was simple with beautiful sculptures of the stairs of the cross. A calm place...More

A very historical church dating back to the 1700s, it sure could tell some story’s. An heroic figure from here is obviously Rupert Mayer who I guess was the local Father at one time, he is buried here and must have been loved by many...More

We stopped by on a whim and were treated to a sublime duet concert (soprano and alto singers accompanied by organ). Wonderful!
