This is a magnificent pre-WW2 building that has largely survived intact. It is an art gallery that has held important exhibitions in the past but there has not been one of those in any of my 5 or 6 visits. There is no entry fee...More

From the outset we felt this looked like a building with a suspect past that had been reengineered into something new and better and so it turned out. Very impressive structure and now an art gallery

House of the Arts is surprisingly interesting- with expansive rooms and a variety of exhibitions featured, it's definitely a stop I would make again. The museum's innovative use of music and art add to the experience. A must see in Munich!

Very interesting and a bit disturbing. The art here will definitely make you think. If you are into thought-provoking art, you will love this place. One of the coolest things about this place is the Nazi history. We learned it was one of the few...More

Actually came here when the gallery was closed - real shame - fascinating building steeped in history and totally recommend the Golden Bar for drinks after - a gallery in itself. Will return.
