Very popular scenic park, more internaitonal than its name would suggest, it contains a Greek temple, Chinese pagoda and Japanese tea house.

Great for walks during all seasons. Particularly interesting in the summer with the FKK beach near the Eisbach :D

Went gere with my partner and got lost in the awesomeness of the nature here. Spotted a Black squirrel which is a first for me and you can make your own path as there are so many!

The English Gardens in Munich are one of the world’s largest public urban parks, bigger than either Central Park in New York or Hyde Park in London. They get their name from the style of landscaping; the British were at the forefront of a fashion...More

It snowed this week, and the park is covered in white... Pure... Beautiful. Careful of the icy paths, simply walk to the side of the path. Lake semi frozen is also beautiful. Where will the ducks go to??...

Spent a cold gray morning here. Lots of open space. Loved to see the high energy levels of the joggers and walkers given the biting chill. Don’t miss the surfers— amazing commitment given the subzero temperatures.

Clean and cosy, not too many people. Squirrels and swans can be seen. Small warefall. Some really old trees.

We persevered with walking through the English Garden even though the weather was terrible and the paths were flooding. I am not sure if we only saw a small part but what we saw was just a grassy park with a river running through it,...More

This enormous park is criss - crossed with trails and has a river and a lake. There are huge grassed areas and it is a wonderful escape from the city.

Well worth a visit. You can see the ice surfers. Their is a small cabin near by which is a cafe. It has a log fire. I had a gluhwein which is mulled wine. It was lovely as it was very cold outside

Only approx. 15-20 minutes by walking. It is not far at all. But the garden is extremely big, so depends to which part you want to go there.
