A traditional large city market with all the goods represented. Clearly this is where the locals go to get the better more niche goods and where people grab a cheap fast lunch. Really enjoyed walking around.

An excellent choice of food and drink bang in Munich city centre. Ideal in warm weather when you can sit outside with a beer or a fruit juice and eat anything you want. Just round the corner from the Hofbrauhaus as well

The Viktualienmarkt was one of our favorite places in Munich. There was so much to take In. Cheeses, fresh fruits and veggies, olives, spreads, breads, wines, beers, prepared food, trinkets, etc. Highly recommend!

Close to Marieplatz and place to buy different kind of Cheese, condiments, fresh fruits and vegetables. It is not big market but everything is available. Fresh bakery items are available too. There a beer garden and cafes too.

This is a Bavarian experience of sights and smells. The dappled sunlight coming through the trees and tents and umbrellas made a delightful impression.
