Brilliant and very grand old building with the famous clock, have a beer in one of the cafe's in the square while you wait for the next clock 'event'.

Great building. Great architecture. Great masonry work. A center of attraction for locals and tourists alike. In December there are a lot of Christmas decorations too.

So very very impressive. The Town Hall absolutely dominates Marienplatz and is the focal point of the Christmas Market. Do not miss the clock's performance.

It is the city hall so unless you have business there I don’t think you can go inside, specially not on a Saturday but the attraction is outside anyway 365 days a year.

It is in Marienplatz which is a busy square with several other tourist attractions and a shopping area. There are cafes and restaurants including one in the Rathaus itself.
