We didn't go in but wandered around the entry area and stayed for the clock and Glockenspiel "show". The building is huge and spectacular

Very large and gothic front. Glockenspiel plays at 11 and 12. Very cool. Went up to the overlook in the tower to see the city and get out bearings.

Nice tower with theatrical moving parts make tourists to stop and stare for about half an hour, inside infomation office and some exhibition rooms etc. Some inner courtyards also must see areas. Just walk all around and if you see any entrance take a chance...More

Located in Marienplatz. This is an awesome place the take the time to explore. The architecture inside is breathtaking and taking the elevator to the observation tower is a must do! The view is incredible if the city.

We‘re talking about the city hall. It‘s a governmental building, an historical place to visit & some times they‘ve public events.

It is in Marienplatz which is a busy square with several other tourist attractions and a shopping area. There are cafes and restaurants including one in the Rathaus itself.
