The inside of this church is stunning. Intricate details on the ceiling as well as the altar. The architecture style is both Gothic and Baroque. This is Munich’s oldest church. There is a tower that can be climbed.

If you are not claustrophobic or get scared if strangers come very close to you, we highly recommend climbing up the narrow ca. 300 stairs of the tower of St. Peter’s church for a brilliant view over Munich and the Marienplatz with the Neues Rathaus....More

Not religious but well worth a look. A magnificent alter and stained glass windows. It is a church so respect congregation. Photos allowed but not food stuff.

Like so many others in Europe, there is more to see and be in awe of in this cathedral. An achitectural, wonder, and full of works of art. Beautiful.

Love the atmosphere when I stepped into the church. A silent pray for peace and happiness to all. Rich architecture and history. A must visit when you are in Munich.

There is no crowd control or queue system so stupidly over crowded inside a tiny, narrow stairwell. Many people trying to push up and down. Dangerous!
